Gunshows are a good avenue if there running in your aera ,but gunshows are not your best choice for selling because typically a dealer wants to buy cheap so he can turn a profit ,he has overhead and has to make money or he doesn't buy,i'd expect a dealer or pawn shop to proably offer ya around 100-150 for the rifle in cash or trade ,unless there a strickly military collector and there looking for this type of rifle ,then they might pay a little more. there are also many dealers who will ship and go thru the proper channels to sell it for you online if ya don't want the hassels involved with shipping or paperwork, and they usually do this for a commision of the final sales of the rifles ,Īnother avenue is a private sales ,but you should follow regulations when dealeing privatly, because unless ya know the individual your selling to then you take a chance selling it to someone who may not be legally able to own a firearm , com, private individuals can list and sell there guns provideing they follow state and fed rules ,reguarding the sales of firearms thur the mail, only sell the rifle to a regrestered dealer who will accept it from a private individual ,and only ship it after the dealer sends a signed copy of his licence for your records, interstate selling the rifle to a dealer is legal, selling to an unlicenced individual is not, shipping longuns can be done thru the usps or any shipping company ,pistols require they be sent thru a licenced dealer to a licenced dealer only, there are forums sites online that have trader forums ,but the rules of sale remain the same as if you were selling it to a dealer. Your best avenue for selling it would be at an online auction site such as or auction arms. #Unissued 1891 argentine mauser values serial numbers
being all matching serial numbers is a plus ,next factor would be the overall condition ,if in excellent condition the value should be in the 300-450 range ,it all comes down to the collector looking at it and what he feels it's worth to him, Hi Thi is a very nicely done custimized version of the orginal model 1909 styule mauser. Hello, you say it's a 1909 model, this was basically a model gew-98 design with a 29" barrel ,the rifles were made by DWM in germany for the argentine gov and should bear the argenting factory crest on the receiver ring ,as for values.
